Something is missing from Binance customer support and the Binance Academy guide: I couldn’t find any support for the hearing impaired. That’s why I decided to become Binance Angel Deaf. Why not use Turkish Sign Language to help other hearing-impaired Binance users?
The biggest challenge for people with hearing impairments is getting the information they want, or rather, understanding and interpreting it.
So in 2016 I created a Telegram group for the hearing impaired called Deaf Power. This group covers topics related to crypto, blockchain and transactions. For the deaf community, many find it challenging to trade on exchanges and understand crypto terminology. I have been trying to alleviate these problems by using and teaching Turkish Sign Language.
Once, my hearing-impaired friend tried to resolve their issue through the customer support team. He had trouble communicating with the team, so he explained the situation to me in sign language and I managed to help!
Unfortunately, hearing-impaired users face some challenges when registering or trading cryptocurrencies. Most people find it difficult to understand the text explaining how to sign up, and there is insufficient support for hearing impaired YouTube videos. I sometimes schedule video conferences to help deaf users learn about Binance and how to get started.
