Ethereum had a mixed week of relay performances – although this chain’s relays were down overall week-on-week, Ethereum still had a big two-day jump to end the period on the 26th and 27th. On those days, seasons jumped to over 250 million from around 150 million earlier in the week. This surge helped Ethereum jump Polygon and climb to the 2nd spot of all chains these days.
DFKchain has put together another strong week to complement its recent season growth streak. This week, seasons increased by 82% and remained constant between 30 and 35 million daily seasons. Thanks to this performance, DFKchain moved up another spot in the rankings and ranked 7th this week.
Gnosis – xDai, the 4th ranked Seasons chain, showed a steady upward trend in Seasons all week, ending with a 16% season increase compared to last week. This chain ended the period with its best daily relay performance of the week, with approximately 129 million relays on July 27th.
Optimism compiled a strong multi-week trend of staggers and ended the period with a stagger up 30%. Like several other chains this week, Optimism ended the period with a daily high in relays, hitting about 8 million relays on July 27th.
After starting the week with relays that were mostly flat, Boba finished on a rapid rise and ended the week on a high (approximately 500,000 daily relays). Overall, the seasons were up about 60% compared to last week.
Moonbeam and Moonriver both had eventful weeks of relay action, with inconsistent action but overall strong results. Moonbeam started the week with a steady climb, culminating in a peak on the 23rd before taking a dip for the next 3 days. Following this dip, Moonbeam’s squadrons bounced back, hitting a weekly high and closing out the period that was approaching 500,000 daily squadrons. Meanwhile, Moonriver started a decline from its whopping two-day peak last week, but a nice uptrend throughout the week helped the chain finish the period by rising whee by 33% on the week.
